Lorraine was born in Birmingham (U.K.) after leaving Aldridge Grammar School, she trained in Birmingham and London, qualifying in 1976 as a Dental Therapist. For many years she worked in all areas around Birmingham

Then in 1995 she moved to Guernsey, Channel Islands, Where she worked as a Dental Therapist at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.

In 2000 she returned to mainland U.K to live and work in Staffordshire.

In 2002 she completed ‘The Complete Writer’ course with ‘The Writing College,’ Exeter.

Memories of a happy childhood and being an avid reader as a child,
Probably influenced her choice of literary genre. Then working with
children of all age groups and ability levels honed her communication
skills.

 

Lorraine is a member of Lichfield and District Writers. She finds the advice and encouragement of other writers invaluable. She recommends new authors have contact with other writers to critique and support them.
